Chinese New Year

Chinese New year is the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. The festival traditionally begins on the first day of the first month in the chinese calender and ends with Lantern Festival which is on the 15th day. Chinese New Year eve, immediate family members gather for their annual reunion dinner is known as "chu xi" means "year-pass eve"
Traditionally Red packets symbolizes 'Good Luck', Mandarin oranges signifies "luck"or"fortune",
"Nian Gao"-chinese new year cake signifies "a more prosperous year". I am looking forward to the red packets and the two days of school holiday.Cheers!

Goodbye 2010!

Hey guys it me i am here to tell you all about the unforgetelble moments in 2010.

I am sure that everyone has good memores and will not forget them.After 2009 which wasent my day my friends said that this year was going to be "my year"At first i did not think that it was ture since i am taking my PLSE next year.At the first day of school i hope I have a good and soild teacher like mrs Pual my P5 teacher. Well how did that go IT WAS AWESOME!.I got mrs ranta and other teachers that where good.My first week was great!

National Day

National Day is Over.It was held in 24 August and it is held at the Padang near Marina sand and resort world and many more.I went to the final resheal when I stayed in Marina sand,the view for the skybox was amazing,The Padang was at the lef hand side.The best part is the fireworks.I was amazing and loud.

Total Defence

Terrorism can take place at anytime and anywhere, everybody should stay vigilant at all times to prevent us from being harmed by terrorist acts. As a students we can play an important part in anti-terrorism too.We can help to keep an eye on any suspicous or item,or any suspicious person and imfrom the police or the transit security staff. Being alert and keeping vigilant not only help protect ourselves but as well as the nation, so that we do not let the terrorist have any chance to strike us.

Fire Prevention

Hi everyone,some children love to play with Fire.they will take matches and will start burning the newspaper.they will uselly play in the living room.they will play fire when they are feeling bored.If I see a fire in my house or any place i will press the fire alarm and try to extingust the fire.If we see somebody trying to start a fire we have to run to him and stop him for burn anything.My house is protect because my house has a smoke dector .

The Importance Of Reading

Hi,why is reading so important?.Beacause we can learn new words and will help us get better result in our Exams and also to get more ideas for our compo .I read lots of types of books like geronimo stilton, The diary of Amos Lee and more.we can get more books by visting the national library,our school library bookshops and popluar.when i choose the books i want to buy i see the back page to see the content.I like reading beacause most of the storybooks i bought are interesting and funny.we can have a compertition about reading books.

Reflecting on the Past and Planning for the Future

Hi everyone, Iam back in school!.
I did well in science but not very well in chinese during last year. Hope to contiune scoring for higher marks for science and work harder to improve my chinese marks further. To achieve it, I will help myself to read more story book , pay more attention in class , to try ask question when i am in doubt. I hope with teacher guidance and pratice can help me further my score.
